DER Touristik focuses on long-haul trips, Egypt and cruises

One of Germany’s leading tour operators DER Touristik presented their program for winter 2017/18. Among the new trend destinations are the Seychelles and Mauritius, while Egypt is making a comeback.

ITS, Jahn Reisen,Travelix as well as Dertour, Meier's Weltreisen and ADAC Reisen will offer trips to more than 179 different countries coming winter season 2017/18. Among the highlights of the new DER Touristik program are tropical destinations such as Seychelles, Mauritius and Dominican Republic.

The German market leader in long-haul travel will offer more cruises than ever and expanded its ongoing cooperation with Aida Cruises, Germany’s leading cruise line. 129 different cruise dates are available for booking with ITS, Jahn Reisen and Dertour.

In addition, the new catalogue will offer more trips to Egypt again as bookings to Hurghada doubled year over year. Most tour operators have high growth rates for Egypt this summer as German holidaymakers regain confidence in the destination. (LEW)
