Bentour, which is best known for Turkey holidays, has integrated all its destinations into one single brochure under the title ‘Summer in Winter 2017/18’. “We’ve combined our best hotels in the most popular holiday destinations,” said CEO Deniz Ugur.

In total, 240 hotels in 14 countries are presented in the brochure. About 60% are in Turkey and 40% in other destinations, such as Spain, Egypt, Morocco, Mexico and Cuba. Bentour has steadily diversified its destinations over the last few years to reduce its exposure to Turkey.

For winter 2017/18, 14 properties of the Delphin Hotels and the Stone Group (Royal Hotels) in Turkey are labelled in the brochure as ‘Ben Group Hotels’ partners. Bentour is also offering two Nile cruises and a Caribbean cruise from Havana to Jamaica and back with the Celestyal Crystal. In total, Bentour offers bookings of more than 5,000 hotels through reservation systems.

Meanwhile, ETI is introducing a new Egyptian destination in its 171-page winter 2017/18 brochure. This is Sahl Hasheesh, a new resort about 20km south of Hurghada with a 12.5km bay where a luxury complex of the Red Sea Hotels group with seven hotels and more than 2,500 rooms will open.

In parallel, the tour operator is continuing to diversify its programme by offering winter holidays on Majorca and Portugal’s Algarve coast for the first time along with charter flights to Tunis and Monastir to shorten transfer times to hotels.

Overall, ETI is focusing next winter on 17 exclusively offered Red Sea Hotels in Port Ghalib, Sharm el Sheikh, Hurghada and Makadi Bay, along with Nile cruises. The tour operator is offering flights from 19 German airports to Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, Marsa Alam).
