London awaits 2012
London has invested 12.5 billion euros in transport and infrastructure improvements ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Among the upgrades are the re-building of the East London line on the London Underground and the reopening of the Savoy Hotel after a lengthy refurbishment. Meanwhile, UK tourism authority Visit Britain is concentrating on three themes for 2010: tradition, youth and the luxury market. It is also promoting film tourism to tie in with recent Hollywood versions of the Sherlock Holmes and Robin Hood stories.Hall 18, Stand 123
